Responding Your Child’s Worry and Anxiety for Catholic School Parents

Workshop Description: Fear and anxiety about Covid-19 and acts of racism can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. This workshop is designed to provide parents with simple tools to help their children with anxiety related to the upcoming school year. Parents will be encouraged to practice each tool or intervention in the workshop so that they can practice at home with their children.
Impact of Stress on Learning. A workshop for Catholic School Parents

Workshop Description: The goals of the workshop are to provide parents with a definition of stress including traumatic experiences and to explore options for coping with their own stress in order to support their children. Parents will also be provided information about how traumatic stress impacts a learning and ways to intervene.Click here to register
